Meet Monica Nakata
Founder of Gentil Health.
Monica has spent her career in publishing and retail advocating for women’s health and pleasure. As one of the early pioneers of Australia’s sexual wellness movement, she saw firsthand how limited and often harmful the options were for women experiencing recurring infections, dryness, discomfort, or hormonal shifts.
Her own experience as an immunocompromised woman deepened the urgency. The products available weren’t gentle enough, effective enough, or transparent enough. Most were clinical, full of harsh surfactants, heavily fragranced, or marketed with shame.
Monica envisioned something different:
Intimate wellness that is safe, beautiful, evidence-backed, and proudly placed on your bathroom shelf.
